The EKC has been the important conference, which links between the prominent Koreas and European scientists and engineers for more than a decade. During the conference, the EKC intends to find new partners, exchange knowledge & ideas and discuss recent progress and future trends in science and technology.

As one of the important EKC participants, KIGAM was attending the EKC 4 times in a row since 2015 for strengthening Geoscience relations with the outstanding Korean scientists who reside in all over the Europe.
